Scott L. Brownstein, MD, FACC
Dr. Brownstein received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Syracuse University, followed by a Master of Science degree in Physiology from Georgetown University and then a Medical Degree from Georgetown University Medical School. He completed his internal medicine internship residency and cardiology fellowship at UMMC.
Dr. Brownstein has been practicing cardiology at Milford Regional Medical Center (MRMC) since 1995 and has served as the Chief of Cardiology there since 2013. Dr. Brownstein is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He is also an Assistant Clinical Professor at UMMC, where he has been awarded Teacher of the Year by the medical residents four times.
His practice consists of all aspects of general cardiology as well as diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, implantation and management of implantable loop recorders, permanent pacemakers, defibrillators and arrhythmia management. He actively participates in cardiovascular imaging such as echocardiography and nuclear cardiology imaging.
