Kristen M. Franklin, MD, FACC

After graduating from Milford High School in 1990 as valedictorian, Dr. Franklin attended Dartmouth College and graduated magna cum laude in 1994 with a degree in Biophysical Chemistry. She obtained her Medical Degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 1999 and completed internship and residency in internal medicine, as well as fellowship in cardiovascular diseases, at UMass as well.

Dr. Franklin worked for Cotton O’Neil Cardiology in Topeka, Kansas for 2 years after fellowship and then returned home in 2007 and joined Hopedale Cardiovascular Associates, serving MRMC and the greater local community as an invasive cardiologist.

She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Diseases, is a member of the American Medical Society and the Massachusetts Medical Society and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Franklin performs diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, stress testing and implantation of insertable loop monitors. In addition, she cares for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
